a.k.a. includes Sue Taylor (Harbor City Music Company Region 19, tenor), Janeen Summey (Chapter-at-Large Region 9, lead), Harriette Walters (Greater Nassau Chorus' Master Director, baritone), and Janell Paviolitis (Chapter-at-Large Region 15, bass). a.k.a has won 1st place Regional medals in 2008 and 2009. They competed at Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competitions in Honolulu, Hawaii in November, 2008 and Nashville, Tennessee in October, 2009. In this most recent International contest, they finished 11th out of 50 top-notch quartets from around the world and had the opportunity to perform as mic testers in the Quartet Finals.
